DICTIONARY.COM App Redesign Concept
This app redesign concept was for an assignment in my Interface Design class at Fitchburg State University. We were given a list of apps to choose from to redesign with a large focus on taking advantage of the iPhone's swipe gestures. I chose the dictionary.com app and completely redesigned how the app functions. Aside from typing in terms to search and a few taps, most the navigation relies on swiping left, right, or up. When greeted by the home screen, the user swipes in whichever direction that corresponds to the function they want to perform. The different functions are distinguished by color so the user knows which function is which. This app redesign was intended to declutter the current app offered and easier to navigate by the use of colors and swiping.
